I Robot

The movie starts with the 3 robot laws,
Law #1- A robot cannot harm a human being, nor through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm
Law #2-A robot must obey a human being, except when it conflicts with the first law
Law #3-A robot must strive to protect its own existence, except where it conflicts with the first two laws.

In Chicago, 2035, technology and robots are part of human’s daily life, but not for Police Detective Del Spooner. He doesn’t like robot, he doesn’t really trust the machine because there’s something in his past, he thinks that robots can do crimes. No one believe him, people just think he is crazy. His boss, John Bergin also doesn’t believe him at all, he says that robots are meant to protect human and not to harm.

One day, Dr. Alfred Lanning who developer these robots is found dead because fell out of window, but Spooner starts to think that he was murdered. He goes to Alfred’s office with Susan (psychologist for robots) who makes robots act more human. Spooner find the robot in the Alfred’s office, its name Sunny. Spooner suspects that Sunny was killed dr. Alfred. Sunny is different with the other robot, he claims to dream and have emotion like human.

Lawrence who created those robots want change those robot into new version, that’s call NS-5. Spooner worries about that. He tells to everyone that robot can harm us, but no one believe him. He also tells susan, she starts to believe him and want to help him to prove that. Spooner has been helped by Susan and Sunny sure that he can prove to everyone he’s been right all along, he’s just waiting for the day coming.

According to me, robot’s definitely make humans activity easier. Humans are free to enjoy their life without stresses, but too many robot can have a negative impact for human life. Robots must be controlled completely.
